Q: How much is the initial consultation when considering plastic surgery?
A: Cosmetic consults are $100.00, due at the time of your initial office visit.
Q: What is the recovery time for most plastic surgery and cosmetic surgery procedures?
A: Recovery times vary depending on the procedure you choose. However, most patients will need to have sutures intact for 5 - 7 days after their procedure.
Q: Is Dr.Agris a board certified plastic surgeon?
A: Yes, Dr. Agris is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons.
Q: What should I expect in terms of necessary follow up visits?
A: All procedures differ, but most patients have sutures intact for 5-7 days. We may want to see you during that period and we will certainly need to see you to remove your sutures when it is time for them to be removed.
All follow-up office visits are included in the surgical fee for three months after surgery. After that office visits are charged at regular rates.

Q: Is there a "right" age to pursue plastic surgery?
A: There is no "right age" to pursue plastic surgery however some people have unsightly scars or body issues that they want improved, whatever their age.
Q: Is plastic surgery covered by insurance?
A: No, only if the procedure is deemed medically necessary by the patient’s insurance company.
Q: What is the difference between cosmetic and reconstructive surgery?
A: Cosmetic surgery is an elective surgery and reconstructive surgery is medically necessary.
Q: Where is plastic surgery performed?
A: All major surgeries are performed in the hospital as an outpatient procedure and all minor surgeries are performed in our office.
